My parents relocated to Boca Raton in 1989 while I was a sophomore transfer student at the University of Miami. When I graduated, with a Bachelors of Science in Speech Communications and Sociology, in 1992, I moved "home" to Boca where I have been, with a few year exception in Aventura, ever since! The brief relocation to Aventura was fueled, in 1996, when I enrolled in a graduate program at Nova Southeastern University. And no surprise that in 1997, I graduated with a Masters of Science in Alternative Dispute Resolution. My husband and I then married and moved back to Boca to be close to my parents. After feverishly looking for my own home, I decided to get my real estate license. My mother was an interior designer and growing up, she brought me to many homes, both model homes as well as her client's homes. In addition, I had moved around a lot as a child and even as a young adult so looking for houses was very familiar to me. Between my background along with my education in communication, it was a glorious mixture of education and real life. I am humbled to say that it was a perfect storm.
My background in Communications and ADR has helped me to facilitate all kinds of situations; talking to clients, other agents, appraisers, title companies, tradespeople, etc. My education has aided me to negotiate better, listen better, resolve conflicts better and to work smart for the better good and future of all of my clients, their families and their referrals.
I pride myself on having built a business on referrals and being an active member in my community. Having been on charity boards, attended fund raisers and donated my time to various organizations, I have always looked to give my all and to stay connected. They say it takes a village and I say this is my Village and I want my village to know that I am here for them in good times and bad.
I raised my both of boys in suburban Boca Raton where they flourished and thrived and have both graduated to the University of Florida where they are learning, exploring and experiening college life. And of course, we are reaping the benefits of a state university where we can apply the Florida Pre-Paid College Program funds along with the Bright Futures Scholarship.
Life is good here in South Florida! For any stage of life, this area has so much to offer!
I love what I do and it shows. I truly believe ..."Experience and knowledge are not Expensive...they're PRICELESS".
